Using Images or GIFs in Your Quiz

Adding images or GIFs to your quiz is a great way to enhance engagement, make questions more visually appealing, and better convey ideas or emotions. To add these visuals, you’ll need to provide the image URL for each question, and this guide will show you the easiest ways to get it.

How to Get an Image URL

Once you’ve chosen the images or GIFs you’d like to use, here’s how to get the URL:

  • Upload the Image to Your Own Website (Recommended)

    • Uploading to your own website is the best option because it keeps your images securely hosted in one place. This way, you don’t need to rely on third-party providers.
    • Steps:
      • Upload the image to your website.
      • Preview the page, right-click the image, and select “Copy Image Address” or “Copy Image URL.”
      • This will copy the image URL, which you can then paste directly into The Quiz Creator’s Image URL field under each question.
  • Using a Third-Party Image Hosting Service (Optional)

    • If you’d prefer, you can use an image hosting site like Imgur. The steps are similar:
      • Upload your image to the hosting site.
      • Right-click the image and select “Copy Image Address” or “Copy Image URL.”
      • Paste the URL into The Quiz Creator.

In the video, above, we've uploaded a GIF of a cup of coffee onto our website already. It's as easy as right clicking on it and copying the image address. A Third party image hosting site is also an option

Where to Add the Image URL in The Quiz Creator

Once you have the image URL, simply paste it into the Image URL field under the question where you want the image to appear. This will instantly display the image alongside your question, ready to enhance your quiz-taker’s experience.

Now you’re all set!

Using images in your quiz has never been easier! Enjoy the visual boost and more engaging interactions with your audience.
